The 08/95 issue of Amiga Computing had a cover dick, in which there is a
programe called "PC to Amiga transfer". This set-up uses a "null modem cable"
to connect the PC/Amiga via their serial ports and slaves the PC to the Amiga
when used. This is so that large files (image files anims etc) can be accessed
off the PC hard-drives directly by the Amiga.
I will be passing this to a friend of mine as this is the type of thing he has
been trying to do cheaply at work, so I may be able soon to report back on its
working's.
It is a Public Domain set-up I think so I could probably upload it if you like.

thanks for the info. I saw the program too. I just don't know how fast it will
be. speed is my main problem. That's why I wouldn't mid paynig for Ethernet. I
think I will give this a shot for the time being until I get the right network
software.
