firstly, i suggest that you take the knife of your modem, thus reducing, even
eliminating the cutting off effect caused by the modem. You could always try
shouting at it, or if the symptoms persist, slamming you fist down hard on it.

You could take the time and tell us what hardware/software your using and also
telling us what your doing and what actually happens when you get cut off. The
more details, the more chance of getting your problem sorted.

I have tried much of that. I found out when I connect after midnight I have no
problem. It seem to work now. I am using termite and a supra 1440 modem, I also
use amitcp 4.0 demo ppp and Mosaic.
I thought there might be broader problems.
