#Print a cmd-file

I've a problem to print a 'CMD'- file on a HP Laserjet 4:
I use the CMD command on my A1200 to print files on the printers at work. It
doesn't make a problem on the HP Deskjet. But on the Laserjet I just get a
little part of the text. 🙁

I use CMD to redirect printed output from Pagestream3 and PPage and oters
all the time without problems. Are you using the correct printer driver? What
is the command you are using? Both to capture the data (ie the CMD command and
the command to transfer to the printer, ie copy/type etc???)
Ehen you copy yhr file, do you copy it to PRT: or PAR: (I suggest you should
be using PAR: so that you bypass the printer driver processing the data again.)

First of all, many thanks for your mail!
To my problem: I use the CMD file on a DOS-formatet disk on a IBM-clone. I
print it with the command
'copy cmd lpt1:'.
It works fine with HP Deskjets, but I've no luck with HP Laserjet 4 (600dpi). I
have tried many different drivers, but it seems, that every part of the
printing the computer write's to the file, it overwrites the existing datas.
( the bytes don't 'grow up')

I can remember a note that CMD had a problem with the Commo HP Laserjet
driver… but I thought this only applied to a very very old WB version… WB
3.0 should work… and why not simply print to the Laserjet using the Deskjet
driver. In most cases this should work as long as you select Greyscale printing
(note, disable greyscale correction of the DJ driver).

Danke fur Deine Antwort! Ich verwende WB 3.1, mus aber gestehen, das ich noch
nie versucht habe mit dem Deskjet – Treiber, am Laserjet zu drucken – werd'ich
ausprobieren.
