Can anyone help? I have an A1200 with Overdrive Hard Drive 4mb fast ram, MUI, Autopilot, Wordworth 3.1SE, PPaint, and have just purchased & installed an HP DeskJet 600 Printer using Digita Print Manager's HP Deskjet 550 driver (no 600 driver available?). I have no problems printing from Wordworth, but for example, if I want to print a message on AutoPilot, I sellect print from the pull down menu, and the following message comes up: "could not open Prt". Also I can't print from my PPaint 4, or Multiview. Is this just a problem with an incompatible driver, or am I missing something more obvious? This problem is annoying as my old Citizen 120D worked fine on most programs, and if I recieve important help from yourselves, I have to write it down. Does anybody know of a PD/Shareware driver for this printer, or which HP driver would be the best compromise? Thanks Peter Hill flying Tornado @ 14400 on AutoPilot 1.8 over the English Lakes

>> I have no problems printing from Wordworth, but for example, if I want to print a message on AutoPilot, I select print from the pull down menu, and the following message comes up: "could not open Prt". I have the same problem and have to resort to using the ol' "Generic" printer driver. Like right now; I tried to print your message and got the same Error message, so I went in to Prefs, changed the Digita-PinDriver (have a NX2420) to Generic and AutoPilot happily printed your message. Seems that AP doesn't like the Digita Printer Prefs. 🙁 Either that or…… anybody? ^^^^ – Running on AutoPilot 1.80 #2 and loving it!
