Michael, >Can anybody send me some Bump Maps for Imagine?< Thats a bit of a broad request. Could you be a little more specific. If your using Imagine 2.9 plus you should have some bumpy textures or why not make some in a paint package, if you aint got a 24 bit paint program you can always render something in Imagine and because it renders in 24 bit you can apply what you rendered as a 24 bit, smooth brush map (even though you maybe couldn't view it). I could go on…:) just let me know. Best Regards, Barrie R Scott

Barrie, >If your using Imagne 2.9 plus< I am using Imagine 3.0 and there were no Bump Maps included. And how can Imagine render in 24 bit if I don't have an graphic-card? Do you mean I can render 24 bit but not show it? Does that mean I could render 24 bit, take they picture and show it on my Dad's Mac (he can display 24-bit). We tried Ham pictures befor and it worked fine… Thanx for responding Thomas "PEGASYS" Bosel p.s. Michael is my Dad.

Thomas, OK…I meant that there are bumpy textures not bump maps included with 2.9 plus (which produce the same kind of thing in a way) but that bumpy textures can be rendered AS bump maps by applying a texture to a plane and putting the camera above it looking straight down on it. In fact any texture could be applied to the plane. After its rendered (ilbm-24bit!!!) you can apply it to something as a bump map (Altitude) – don't forget to change to size of the y axis to 3 or more (or whatever 🙂 ). As regards 24 bit, in quick -YES-, Imagine renders in 24bit set the QUFF parameter in the preferences editor to ilbm-24bit and away you go. As the bomb said in 'Dark Star' "This is fun.", please ask again if its not clear. Best Regards, Barrie R Scott er…Hi Michael (Dad ?) <g>
