Bump Maps
Thomas,
OK…I meant that there are bumpy textures not bump maps included with 2.9
plus (which produce the same kind of thing in a way) but that bumpy textures
can be rendered AS bump maps by applying a texture to a plane and putting the
camera above it looking straight down on it. In fact any texture could be
applied to the plane.
After its rendered (ilbm-24bit!!!) you can apply it to something as a bump
map (Altitude) – don't forget to change to size of the y axis to 3 or more (or
whatever 🙂 ).
As regards 24 bit, in quick -YES-, Imagine renders in 24bit set the QUFF
parameter in the preferences editor to ilbm-24bit and away you go.
As the bomb said in 'Dark Star' "This is fun.", please ask again if its not
clear.
Best Regards, Barrie R Scott
