That was your choice.<< Point taken..Scala was the first software I bought..I had never used a computer at that point..I rushed in I guess when the software had just been launched..I will wait in future. Its all experience I guess. If so, our software specifies that you need a minimum of 1 MB of Chip RAM and 2 MB of Fast RAM. I'm surprised you could even start MM300. On an AGA based machine, we RECOMMEND that you have 2 MB of Chip RAM, which you already have, and 4 MB of Fast RAM, in order to take advantage of all the features in MM300. Please bare in mind that graphics based applications, especially multimedia, are memory hogs. No a misunderstanding here..My machine was then a A1200 2mbx4mb (am now using 030 with 2×18). The point I was making is that some of Scalas important features like `Big Crawl' are totally disabled in the software for ALL 020 processor machines…(find that in the manual or the hype!) Check the fade level and time. Is the "Wait" button ticked or do you have a pause that is set to short or even "0"? >>Also I have a nasty black line accross everything when fading using this function…?<< Sounds like a hardware problem to me. Personally, I never did like the G-Lock. It's operation was difficult to work with and performance is mediocre at best.
