#Scala

John,
Can you provide some info on MM400 ? I still have the original Scala which I
like but I never upgraded because of the dongle. If this is not the case I
would like to suggest you provide the ability to play a Scala presentation on a
machine without a dongle – keep it if you must for editing. I am presently
doing presentations in Powerpoint on the PC which I often distribute to
multiple parties which they can use with the freely distributable player
software. Would be great to convert to Scala but impractical if everyone has to
buy the whole package to get the dongle.
Talking of PCs – will Amiga generated work be usable on your forthcoming PC
version ?
I also output to video so I use max overscan, but on my dinosaur version the
backgrounds are too small, so I have to scale them in ADPro (pain in the you
know what). How about in 400 ?
My genlock/overlay is an IV-24, any support for the 24-bit capabilities of this
card.
As you can tell I don't need all the capabilities of Scala but I sure did like
to use it and hope to again.
Thanks,
Steve Brightman
