Has anyone managed to get Super Wing Commander to work on Emplant? I've tried both 32 and 24 bit "launch" modes, but no luck. The whole emulator crashes right after I double click on the game icon. I've also tried removing all of my extensions except for Quicktime, Sound Manager, and Musical Inst. If someone can help out, I'd appreciate it. I'm hoping I didn't spend $50 on a game that doesn't work on Emplant. While were on the subject of Wing Commander: has anyone attempted to get WCIII to work on the Emplant? I saw it in the store yesterday and got so depressed when I read it was for Power PC Macs or Macs with a PPC upgrade. I was wondering if anyone tried to get it to work on an 040 or 060 equipped Emplant just for the hell of it. Let me know, if you can. Waiting till Motorola decides to release that 68060. Chris, This doesn't answer your question about WCIII, but, FWIW, the following games seem to run very well on an A4000/060 Emplant Mac emu: Buried in Time (Journeyman's Project Two) Full Throttle Hell Voyeur A-10 Attack Some like, Full Throttle, list a MAC Quadra or Power PC with a Quad speed CD player as necessary system requirements for best game play.
