#3D Studio Help

HELP!! I am a 3D Studio novice who is proud to say that I have successfully
completed the complete set of Autodesk tutorials, and DIGIMATIONS wonderful
training tapes. I am a AutoCAD user of 5 years who has been lucky enough to
make the trasition to 3d modeling for Architectural Visualization. Though I
have
yet to complete a project for my company (Crawford, Murphy and Tilly, Inc. –
CMT-)
I am frantically trying to get a grasp on this program. The tutorials and
training
tapes have got me going, but I need more. More examples, more how-to's. If
anyone can suggest a book or tape or any words of encouragement I would be very
grateful.

The Inside 3D studio helped me alot. I have a similar background to you in
that I used AutoCAD since R2.6 and went to 3D studio at R2.
Also just reading the forum messages and trying to figure out what all the
experts are saying. <G>
Good luck and if you have a question post it to the forum and you will get all
the help you want, sometimes more.

There is a really nice bit of architectural advice (and a really handy AutoLISP
routine) in the book "3D Studio Special Effects" (New Riders Publishing).
I'd recommend picking that up, in addition to "Inside 3D Studio 4". They
should be available at most larger bookstores.
