Im using 3dstudio R.4 on pentium machines (7 of them with novell 3.12), lately I bought an external VGA T.V. converter to be able to transfer the aminations I did to Videocassete, but the results werent satisfactory, so Im looking for the correct hardware to do so with greate image quality. Im not sure about this, but as I understand there are two posibilities: 1- VTR Controlers, 2.- Fast hard drives and video cadrs. Personaly I would prefer the second. Which one do you recoment. So the question is – what equepment do I need, what brand, Is there extra software required, sound card, etc. And if there is some one that can quote this for me. I would apreciate very much your help as I dont have access to this information in Mexico, so please detail the most. Thanks Alejandro

Alejandro… Sounds like the DPS Perception Video Recorder (PVR) is just what you need. In a day or two I'll be posting a Q/A document on this device here in the library. The document was put together from DPS's own FAQ sheet, a little hands-on experience, and mostly with the great dialogue we've had here in the forum ovr the past month or so. I don't have DPS's phone number handy, but you can try their Internet connection (http://www.dps-inc.com). \\\. ========================= >-==<MIKE(>=– >-==*- /
