Will, Question for you about the configuration to get AS to run well. I'm getting ready to upgrade RAM. (Currently running 16MB on a Micron PCI 90). Do you think it's enough to jump to 32 or is it worth the extra cost to jump to 48MB instead? I'm planning on adding a windows video accelerator card (either Diamond Viper or Number Nine Motion 771) at the same time so I'd like to save the money on the extra RAM if it's not going to make a big difference. What's your best guess? Also, the 4X RAM in swap space has my system swapping forever. Is there something else to do to make it more efficient? I DEFRAG often and usually have about 400 – 500 of free space on the drive. Thanks. Barry

Hi Barry, Someone on the AS team told me that it doesn't use more than 32 meg of RAM so I would opt for not going any more UNLESS? you want the swap file. I have 3 copies of AS on three machines configured differently, ie; from 32 meg to 64 meg. The 64 meg machine gives me a nice large swap file which for what I do on that machine is helpful. It's a trade off. Hope this helps Will
