#Nov. Users Group Mtg.

Bob,
Things are OK. I'm making an Octopus with Organix metaballs and using
Keyscript to animate. I would be happy to demonstrate that at the meeting.
I have Blob sculptor. Its a fun program. I think it is Alfonso
Hermida who is the developer….Is he going to be there too? That would be
very interesting.

Sanford

I believe that it will be either Alfonso or "the other one. . ." As a
reminder, we're meeting this Saturday at 10:00 a.m. I don't know if you've been
to our *new* location – if not, drop me a note or call me at (714)548-6164 for
directions.
I'm spending the first part of the meeting discussing World Builder.
Talk to you soon – shall I put you down for Organix in November??? Let me know
so I can announce it tomorrow.
Thx.
Bob
Bob,
please e-mail directions or an address. I may show up tomorrow – if I can get
up that early and you send directions. Why don't you publicly announce the
meetings up here, anyway?
Martin –
I thought that was a public announcement! (Isn't this where we do those
things?)
The new OCIPUG meeting area is at 1520 Brookhollow Drive, Suite 38, in Santa
Ana California. Coming north on the 405 from the 405-5 "Y", you would take the
55 (Costa Mesa freeway) north (away from the beach; turn right, etc.), and exit
at Dyer Road. You'd make a left under the freeway, and make the first right on
Grand Ave. You'll then make the second right on Brookhollow, which dead-ends
against a circular drive, also called Brookhollow (clever!). Make a right, and
follow it around about 1/4 circumference. Look for 1520, building 38, on the
left.
We'll probably be the only office complex building with cars in front of it.
Tell me, was it the Blob Modeller discussion, or the World Builder portion that
piqued your interest? You've probably been using WB far longer than I (I've
only had it two weeks). I've seen your notes on it up here.
By the way, get your pc mode reactivated. I'll be sending you some questions
for that Planet Studio interview I promised in the next couple of weeks.
Oh, check out my first website at http://www.rhotech.com. I'm a proud papa (it
has Perl scripts that actually work!)
Hope you can make it.
Bob
Bob,
thanks for the directions. I'll file them away for future use.
It wasn't either subject that piqued my interest, it was the fact that I
finally had some free time.
Only problem is I usually stay up most of the night on Friday's (4am last
night) and desiring a full 8 hours sleep at the weekend, I will almost always
miss any Saturday 10am meeting, available or not.
True to form, I missed this meeting again 🙁
Martin
Bob,
I can't make this Saturday. But you can put me down for Organix in
Nov. I'll call you to get new directons.
Regards.
Sanford
Hi Bob! I was curious about your user group meeting. Would you mind sending me
the info on it? We're trying to pull together a list of user groups for an
upcoming issue and would like to have your group on the list.
Thanks.
