I still have the following problem connecting to the Internet via Compuserve
and AMI/TCP.
– I ran the iinstall script. – after typing "internet" the PPP window opens and
dials – it connects to CIS – it sends my ID number together with the
go:pppconnect – the PPP window closes at that point – after a few seconds of
inactivity I get the PPP failed message – I never see the AMI/TCP
startup-picture
My AMI/TCP seems to be working fine. When I click on its icon I get the
startup-picture and I can hit the OK button. When I run the startinternet
script now PPP states "AMI/TCP already active". All this seems to wrok, I still
do notget connected.
Any ideas anyone?
