Does anybody know where I can get hold of a program called Vista Pro which generates landscapes? And can these landscapes be imported into 3DS? Thanks in advance Lee Hodgson The Thought Train Ltd

Lee, Go GRAPHVENA, and look for VRLI, Inc. Vistapro 3.1 is fairly closely integrated to 3DS. (Will export .dxfs, and texture maps.) SCL

Lee, Vistapro is made by VRLI, call (805) 545-8515. Vistapro DEM files can be exported as DXF files, and imported into 3DS. Paul S.

Lee: There's also a shareware utiliy called DEM23DS that converts .DEMfiles from Vista Pro directly to 3DS format, sounds better than DXF though i couldn't look at it yet. Murat

Lee: VistaPro is published by Virtual Reality Labs, Inc., who can be found in the Graphics A Vendors forum (GO VRLI). VistaPro does not generate landscapes (other than fractal ones) but it is most often used to render images of landscapes. VistaPro's DEM (digital elevation model) landscapes can be saved in DXF format for importing in 3DS. I will email additional information to you about VistaPro. Clint <VRLI>
