Anyone out there with an ATI Pro Turbo Card? The Vibrant drivers crash if you
try to run it above 75Hz, and ATI's recommended Panacea drivers only allow 256
colors in the Materials editor. SIGH.

I have/have used both the VLB and PCI versions (all 2 meg) at up to 76Hz with
no problems. (Never tried higher refresh rates.) I've used 'em with NEC, Sony
and CTX monitors and usually set Editor at 1024x768x256 and Materials Editor at
800x600x16.7M. One place that had Mirage, I had to have a separate .set file to
run Editor/KF in 24 bit, just for Mirage.
Those Panacea drivers are for R2, which only had 8 bit color in the Materials
Editor, so it's not surprising.
Best advice I could give would be to get the latest drivers here and experiment
with the refresh until they're stable.
