I was on the phone with DPS to day and they inform me that they have just (Last
Monday) put up the latest PVR software Version 2.04. This new version has *on
line* the new 400 page user manual that is soon to be sent out to users.
Dan also mentioned that a company called Starmedia sells a NLE called Video
Action Pro, anyone hear of it? They will soon have a version that directly
accesses the PVR files.

Steve…
We haven't chatted with Dan in a week or so, but if the new 2.04 drivers are up
on the board, we may try to pick them up tomorrow. I'm assuming they run bug
free in NT 3.51 with or without the newshell <BG>?
I pick up my PVR machine tomorrow morning from Mark DeMazza. First we're gonna
load the puppy up with some software though. Is Starmedia a software company
or hardware? Is this competition for in:sync?
BTW, I'm working with Doug Hembruff on refining the PVR Q/A document. Once
completed it will be posted in the new Non-Linear Video Editing section
(library) in COMANIM and on in:sync's BBS and web site.
