#AStudio v1.1 — declared parent_msg_num=(none), resolved parent_id points to #(none)

I just got through deleting the AAS directory ( including all sub-dir and
icons)and when I install 1.1 from scratch it the set-up program still said it
detected earlier installed version.
Do you have any guess why or if it matters?

There is an entry in the WIN.INI files which report the directory and version
of previous installs. This should not influence the effectiveness of an update.
