I just installed a new Rose Electronics "ServeView" Keyboard Controlled Switcher. I am impressed with the quality of this product, the documentation is excellent and installation is a breeze. I work on four computers at the same time and desk space became an increasing issue. Another reason I tried out this product is that I'm very pleased with my NEC Monitor, Gateway keyboard and Microsoft mouse and its location in my work area, I was wearing out the wheels on my chair moving from computer to computer. Anyway, would rather put the money into RAM and such than another monitor, keyboard, mouse. The two basic units offer a two CPU or four CPU setup. These can be chained togeather for access of up to 256 PC's with one monitor, keyboard and mouse up to 250 feet. The more extreme distances require special cabling and video quality will deteriorate with extreme distance. Available soon (?) 8, 12, and 16 port units, also expandable up to 256 ports. Video resolution supports up to 1280X1024 non-interlaced. CPU switching controlled by the ServeView unit or at your keyboard. Many other features but this is beguining to sound like a commecial (YUK!). Just thought I'd pass this on, I liked this product so much that I became a dealer. They can be contacted @ Rose Electronics, Houston, TX. 800-333-9343. Or E-Mail my company @ CIS 73162,3010. I'd be happy to answere any questions. Randy Jackson, ComWorks Comm., Inc.
