I have uploaded EXPRLOD.ZIP, an example of an expression controller, to the
MAX Samples library. The expression controller is assigned to the number of
height segments of the cylinder and computes the number of segments based on
the distance from the camera to the cylinder.
It's a very simple example, but hopefully it demonstrates the power of the
expression controller.
