I would like to switch to AutoPilot, but cannot afford the registration fee. On
the subject of Term, I have tried Y-modem but after asking me for a filename,
nothing happens. I have tried initiating a transfer with the download binary
files menu option, but with anything other than X-modem it does nothing.

You can use it in the Amiga Forums while you're saving up for it. It will
save you quite a bit of money so you could just put aside the difference in
your phone bills and within a month or two will be able to afford it. Just a
thought….

Silly question, but did you tell both CIS and your term program that you'd
changed to Ymodem? I really don't know what else to suggest at this point
since I d/loaded AutoPilot with Terminus using Ymodem and have been using
AutoPilot ever since….
