I do wish I could help – but I'm at a loss. I don't use Termite (Nor NCOMM),
and know nothing of the way it works. I can tell you how to make things work
with AutoPilot, which I use, but not with term programs that I don't know.
With AutoPilot, sending of messages and email is just automatic and it works
right every time. We SEND ASCII things, and upload binary things for the most
part.
On lost messages – were these lost on her hard drive? Were they email
messages? I know so very little about the question that I can't guess at the
answer. I know you are trying very hard to tell me all the facts – but they're
getting lost somewhere between you and me.

I uploaded messages via C/s Mail. They went up as binary files. It seems that
their presence is known but their whereabouts are not. That's why I appended a
piece from Peter Hill in case it might illuminate the subject.
