I get a message saying "Not A DOS Disk" when I try to access the floppy drive
on a A1200. It could be that a "mount" command, or a file was wiped out. Can
anyone help?

Bob,
>Not A DOS Disk
Usually this error message appears, when the Amiga cannot read the boot sectors
of the disk or these sectors has the wrong contents in it. If the computer
could read this disk before, it is now corrupted. You may then try a program
like "DiskSalv". Perhaps it can recover your data again.
If this message appear, if you insert a disk from which you are 100 per cent
sure that it is intact, then the disk drive is defective :((
