I have a Amiga 500 I got second hand. For some of the files in the library I
need a more recent operating system release (2.04) What is the most recent
release and where can I get it?

The most recent OS is 3.1. It is published by Villagetronics, but many dealers
have it for sale – both local and mailorder. Look in an Amiga magazine –
probably Amazing Computing is best – for addresses, phone numbers, and prices.
