Dear Everyone, Thank you all for your messages and EasyPlexs concerning the DL7 problem on some of our Text AbasiC files. Several members have told me to check specifically on TERMIN.BAS and to look at lines 2 and 1040. I did this and here is my hypothesis (at least one of them. Line 2 ending in :p (was probably a :print…. and line 1040 of :retur probably :return now if you count the characters in these two lines the last character (beginning with the very first digit of the sequence number) is character 139 in both cases. My hypothesis is that the ACCESS program has that as its maximum line length. In about ten minutes I must leave to fly to Philadelphia so I will not be on until later tonight. At that time I will leave a message to CIS to confirm this but I do believe this is the problem (at least one of them). So perhaps if we made certain our AbasiC programs lines were a maximum of say between 120 and 130 we could eliminate this situation. What do you all think on this? Please let me know your thoughts. Take care. Sincerely, Sysop/Betty Knight Enter command, N for next message or <CR> for menu : n
