Does anyone know how to work the ROLLING DEMO disks? My dealer has no idea. Someone said to load the CLI disk in place of the Workbench, This resulted in the screen going white and typing "demoss" in blind did set the drive spining, But no demos were seen. I would appreciate any info on this as the dir's show some interesting files. My dealer and I are both a little tired of ROBO CITY and BOING! as nice as these are. Hope someone out there has an answer. thanks, Louis A. Hazard

Seems that I heard that ROLLING DEMO required a pre-release KickStart disk (V27.x). Many of the old demos only work with the KickStart which was current when the demo was put together. Such is life when the operating system is not stabilized! (Watch for further changes in AmigaDOS 1.1). If you look on the Workbench disk, you will find NO mention of Workbench per se. I think that is because Workbench is actually read into the WCS (pseudo ROM BIOS – come- OS) from KickStart (as well as AmigaDOS) and the startup command in s/startup-sequence, LoadWb, just activates it. There's gotta be SOMEthing in the 192k on KickStart! I agree about getting tired of BOING and ROBO-CITY. Good luck! -LDM-
