Boy am I ever disappointed. I had always considered the Amigaforum as THE place to go for an Amiga owner having problems. Well several days ago I posted a message about the problems I was having with my Sidecar and my harddisk. I thought with all the expertise here from CA, dealers , hardware and software people that I would have got some sort of reply. I realized that the Sidecar is not widely distributed so a perfect answer was probably not likely….but I expected some comment maybe on my hard disk ( aMountain 30 meg which is widely available)…such a comment good or bad would have been of some assistance…or maybe general comments on expansion port problems. But nothing!….gack! This is worse than the support I got from my authorized Commodore dealer! Oh well I guess I'll have to go off alone to face the cruel world of hardware.

Ed, I'm sorry you haven't gotten a reply – you might try directing your questions (problems) with Sidecar to Dave Haynie of C=A his PPN is 71001,165. Marlene

Ed, I'm sure _lots_ of members read your message and did not reply because they couldn't be of assistance. I saw it, for example, but have neither a SideCar nor Mountain drive. I would wager that the segment of the membership with Sidecars is fairly small, the segment with Sidecars and Mountain drives is smaller, and the segment with both _and_ solutions to your problem is nearly non-existent. Please don't let this instance dishearten you. Our forum members are a super bunch, and they've got _lots_ of expertise. Take a poll of people who've had problems before you; I think you'll find most of them quickly got feedback leading to a solution. I'm sorry you didn't. Rick

Ed, I too saw your message…and I too had no answer for you so could only hope that one of the members may have had some form of solution for you. Don
