Does anyone know what is slowing up the A2000 deliveries? If Commodore cannot deliver by the December 1, will they honor the trade-in for those who have placed orders before the deadline?

What is 'slowing' up the A2000 deliveries is demand. CBM underestimated the demand for the 2000 and just plain ran out. I don't know if they'll honor the trade in if ordered before Nov 30th, but word has it that significant shipments of 2000s may not take place until Dec or Jan.

Jeff, I worked out a deal with my local Ami store…the have a credit card slip for a new ami 2000, and I am garunteed that I get the trade in price. The same store is oferring a bridgecard and 5 1/4 drive for a penny with any 2000 purchase, so I locked that in as well. Maybe you can find the same deal. BTW, I live in Clarkston, Mi. Near detroit, if that close. Jim Vogel

A bridge card for a penny? Finally! A clone with a price/performance ratio approaching 1. Regards, Larry.

Jim, what is the `street price' for the A2000? I've never even seen the list price quoted anywhere in my area.

Stephen, I think its about 1550 or so.List is 2000. If you are a registered 1000 owner, you should get a letter in the mail from CBM on the 2000. But there are places that sell it cheaper. Jim V.
