VFD.ZIP (I think in the utilities section) is an .AVI-.FLC cross-compiler.
Hope that helps

Adobe Premiere could solve your problem. It can convert FLIs,
TGA-,BMP-Sequences
(like produced by 3DS) to AVI. Using TGA (TrueColour) will lead to a better
quality than
first making a FLI and than converting to AVI. It also allows a lot of
transitionfunktions
between several AVIs, filterfunktions und three audiochannels to mix. It is –
of course –
not the cheapest solution of your problem…
Greetings!
We have a program called RAZOR which can convert FLI to
AVI and back again if necessary.

But the problem with FLIs is that they have limited colours! If you want to
create AVIs
at higher quality you'll have to make them out of several truecoloured bitmaps.
Agree?
Greetings!
