I have recently purchased ASTOUND! by Gold Disk for doing whiz-bang presentations. The truly ASTOUNDing thing is that the manual says that it only supports the animation file formats native to the Gold Disk animation products. It turns out that they have patched it so that .FLI/.FLC files can be played on the screen like a video but that is all! In order to import ACTORS into your presentation, they must be in the .ACT format which is supported by the Gold Disk animation products (am I the only one thinking that ASTOUND! is just a marketing ploy for Gold Disk animation products???). Anyway, I would like to be able to make actors in AniPro, and use them in my ASTOUND! presentations, so does anyone know of a translator that can make .ACT files from .FLC files???????????????? Thanks for any help! Dennis P.S. I can't believe that PC Mag picked this package twice as the best wonk presentation software!!!!

Dennis, I am not familiar with Atound, but if it has the capability of importing sequential bitmap files, you could export a series of frames from AAPRO, and then import them into ASTOUND. -Brian
