I will be buying my first Amiga in the near future. Hopefully I will get an A2000. I have a pcjr now and want to know if I could use the monitor with a pc adapter to hook up to an Amiga. If so, how would the quality and resolution be. Also, I have a Brother hr10 printer and wanted to know if it can be hooked up as well. It has the standard ibm parallel pin plug. Thanks for any advice. – Scott

Scott, Yes, you can use your PC monitor to hook up to the Amiga BUT you will lost 90% of the colors available to you. The Amiga can output RGBI color (which is what IBM uses..so I presume that's what the Jr. used) but like IBM, can only output 16 colors via RGBI. An analog monitor will display all 4096 colors that the Amiga is capable of. Not having tried the Brother printer, I can't say for sure, but can state that 99.9% of all the printers made will work with the Amiga. Don
