Alan, not sure what you mean by satellite databases, but you can receive satellite weather pictures with what Ben has available here. (Before I get any further, how about doing something about all them uppercase letters in your message. Either get rid of your tandy computer if that is what you are using (sorry Ben), get your elbow off the shift key, or go profile and change the setting from upper case only to upper/lower case) Nobody on here likes reading messages in all uppercases! Anyways, what Ben has on here is a file called SatFax.arc (I think) and it has a couple of files in it. One is the program called Fax. The other file is a data file for Ben's Schematic Capture program called Scheme. There is a demo version in his data library on here.a+Bse note that you need at least one meg of memoe to run anything of these programs (Or almost anything that Ben writes <grin>). You will have to run scheme (after setting up a disk for it), load the data file, and send the output to a plotter (if you have one available) or do lots of screen dumps (menu option in the program) to get a hard copy of the schematic. After you get the schematic, you have to build the circuit! Its not that hard to build – I built it about two weeks ago. This interface/program will allow you to receive the weather satellite stuff at 137.5 MHz, 137.62MHz, etc. and probably will also work on the geostationary weather satellites at 1691 (?) MHz.
