Commodore, at its annual meeting today, confirmed that Software ETC, a
subsidiary of B Dalton would carry the Amiga 500. They also mentioned that
Waldenbooks software, and electronic boutique would carry the Amiga, for a
total of slightly less than 400 stores. This would represent an increase of
about 33% above the approximately 1200 stores that the amiga is available
in right now. Shipment of hardware is imminent to many of the new outlets.
Otherwise, an uneventful annual meeting with no other news or surprises. On
a separate note, the amiga was mentioned in the current edition of business
week, though I havent read the article yet.
