If it wasn't already pointed out… the new release also provides the parallel
printer font installer. This is a significant product in that it allow all of
us that, for many good reasons, don't use RS-232-attached postscript printers
the chance to download Adobe fonts without the aid of gurus. Up until we
received this loader we have had to capture the output of font downloads from
application programs and convert them to ascii-readable versions that we could
modify with the serverdict command (making them resident). With the new
downloader we don't have to worry anymore! What would make real sense is for
Adobe to release a PC version that uses the Appletalk PAP for those of PC users
on TOPS.
