The QMS 810 is mechanically equivalent to a LaserWriter NT. The RIP, for all
prectical purposes) has equivalent performance. Buy a NT if you are in an Apple
only environment (street price $3500-$4000), 810 for mixed DOS-Mac environment
(it easily mimics HP's, etc. Street price $4300-$4800). For bargins, nothing
can come close to the NEC (street price $3200). But I don't know what engine it
uses.
