I just received an order form for CompuGraphic's 13 PostScript type
volumes. While I don't need any of their type yet, I'd like to get my
hands on the Fontliner utility they are bundling until Jan. 1. According
to the order form, the utility converts outline characters (Fontographer
created I assume, not Adobe) to Illustrator/ Freehand format. The program
is credited to a company called Taylored Graphics. Has anyone used it
yet? Does anyone know where to find Taylored Graphics? Thanks
I haven't got a line on Taylored Graphics, but I have had the chance ot
use FontLiner…works great! It takes your PostScript Font & converts it to
an Adobe Illustrator file, as individually grouped drawings, just like the
"clip art" alphabets that Adobe released themselves with their Collectors
Edition One. FontLiner won't work on Adobe fonts, but it will work on just
about any other font on the market (since every other company I know of
bases their fonts on Fontographer).
