If you are serious about professional desktop publishing on the Amiga you are probably asking yourself why Adobe Systems has adopted a not-on-your-life attitude toward support of the Amiga. I suggest a strongly worded message be left on the Adobe section here on Compuserve. Make your feelings and wishes clear. I recently left a message asking why Adobe couldn't find their way clear to provide the Amiga DTP comminity with downloadable fonts and a downloader in Amiga format, and support for the Amiga's IFF in EPS format…something we all need if we are ever to use EPSF clip art. I do not believe I am asking too much. We aren't talking a whole lot of development costs here. I'm not even suggesting that Adobe port any applications over to the Amiga…just a smattering of data, a dab of information, a smidge of what could be construed as support…almost. It seems to me that their market may be shrinking, what with Apple dumping postscript, and it appears really dumb to ignore a potential market for so little an investment. IT IS EMCUMBENT ON US, THE AMIGA DPT COMMUNITY, TO MAKE OUR WISHES KNOWN TO ADOBE SYSTEMS. After all, it did help the situation with Wordperfect Corp. SPEAK UP!
