Arnold,
Can you play it using Media Player (by double clicking the file in File
Manager)? Does other programs open it OK?
Normally, that gray-out means it can't recoganize it as a valid AVI file. If
it found valid info, it will display the first frame and allow you to preview
it inside the open DB. BTW, if you only selected the AVI file type, does it
still gray-out? Can you use Video Capture to open it?
If all failed, do you know the codec that you used in capturing this AVI file?
