I recieved Music-X 1.1 from Phil about 6 weeks ago. I discovered a major bug with its ability to tranmit sysex info. I spoke to Dave Joiner and Phil about it and got their assurance that it would be fixed. Today Nov. 2 I recieved the revised fix to 1.1 and the bug is still there! The problem happens when I dump a temp file from my Roland U-110 sound module to a track. It gets recored ok, but when I send it back to the sound module none of the info gets to it.I see indications of the midi messages being sent (on my midi patch bay) but the modules lights never lights up indicating it has recieved the info.I can run Music-X 1.0 soon after and it does just fine transmitting the info. All I can say is Im staying the hell away from Music-X 1.1 and will make sure that anyone who wants to know will hear about this great deficiency! I take it then that I shouldn't bother relaying this message to those that could do something about it? —Mike

I will tell David about the bug you described, but if you have already spoken to him about it once, you may want to tell him directly that the problem is still there. Although he is busy working on MX 2.0, fixing existing bugs is the first priority. —Mike

Actually I spoke to Phil at M.I. about it on Friday and he suggested I tell Matt Nathan. At that point I was pressty disappointed with the whole situation and resolved myself to just sticking to version 1.0. Please feel free to communicate this problem. At the moment Im just going to wait and see what happens. Thanks for your efforts. The program is so good it really deserves to fire on all cylinders. Tom
