I am having a real weird problem when I try to log into Compuserve. I have an Amiga 3000 and am using the Datalink 2000 modem with MNP-5 capability. I am able to hook up to Compuserve just fine. I make my "cis" annotation and then enter my ID number and then my password. The system accepts my entry and displays the Compuserve title bar… ..you know…the one that says copyright and all that stuff…but then the whole system just freezes and the first menu does not appear, despite several minutes of waiting. This only happens when I use the public domain software package called ACCESS! . With another, less capable software package, I can link up to Compuserve with no problems… except that this other package does not support Compuserve B protocols like "ACCESS!" does. It would seem like that this should be a real simple problem with my not selecting the proper software protocols, but I've tried every combination that I can think of. Has anyone else had a similiar problem with using ACCESS! and hooking onto Compuserve like this? It's really weird. Thanks!

Are you using Access under dos 1.3 or 2.0? If it's under 2.0 that could be the problem as it's not really a 2.0 program yet. FYI Access! is NOT A PUBLIC DOMAIN PROGRAM IT'S SHAREWARE!!!!
