#WB2.0

Perhaps you should load WorkBench. It is part of the OS, you know. :^)
And those crashes are well known, so it certainly isn't me.

Ben,
Why load something I don't want or need? It's an option, one that
I choose not to use.

Yes, I know…. we were talking about OS bugs, and finding them. You said
you couldn't find them. I suggested you load the portion of the OS you
don't normally use, so that you could experience the REST of what CBM
supplies to the users. Never mind.

Ben,
If you had said, "for the bug to show up, you've got to load the
WB" or some such…I'd have replied differently. I presumed you were just
suggesting to me that I use the WB also.
However, based on what Harry said, I did in fact just load up the
WB and try again. The WB is in interlace, the terminal I'm running is also
in interlace. I then opened a PCWindow which is not interlaced.
I left the screens ontop of each other and flipped back and forth
between 2 of them, then moved them a bit and flipped back and forth between
3 of them. I got no GURU, no problems, no nothing except what I'd expect,
the screens each popped to front as they were supposed to.
I'm not saying the bug doesn't exist…I'm saying I can't duplicate
it.
Can anyone give me an exact sequence of events to get it to occur
so I can attempt to duplicate it?
Don
