#MFF bails out

I haven't seen this here, so pardon me if this is a rehash.
Apparently, the authors/producers of Microfiche Filer are bailing out of
the Amiga market to work under Windows on the PC on a "New Project".
The author posted (on another network) that he regretted the move, but
could no longer justify working in the Amiga market. He went on to be more
specific, but I think the gist of it could be rephrased as "working on the
fringe".
An unfortunate occurance. I wish CBM would take notice.

It is unfortunate that another developer is lost. Personally I did not
find much to like in Microfiche filer (despite the piles of favorable
reviews in the various amiga publications)
I bet I wont get a newsletter from them telling me about 'databases' on the
'other' platform as a certain company mistakenly did 🙂

Ben,
I hadn't heard that before…
That's a shame. I personally didn't use MicroFiche Filer, but I've
seen comments by others that it's is (was) a good program. I hate to see
developers leave this market…but as I've said before, I see things like
that as an unfortunate consequence of CBM pushing a machine that perceived
as a game machine with the name 'Amiga' on it rather than the rest of the
line.
I agree, CBM should wake up and take notice of these things.

That's really too bad. What other programs did they do besides Microfiche
Filer?
