Betty, could you give me some information on Intuitracker? I have DL'ed something like it from a local BBS, but all the info given in the docs is "if you don't know how to use it, call your friend who does. That's what friends are for." <thanks for nothin' pal>. So, friend, when I run the program, I can get a small window that looks like a tape or cd player of some sort, but I have no idea how to use it or what modules are for. Can you give me any help? <-SJK->

Steve, I use the version of IntuiTracker that is in our Libs here. I just run it from the CLI with "run Itracker". It places a tiny little window in the uppoer left bar of the WB. To use its menus, I must click within its part of the window bar, then pull down the menus. There are three of them. The first lets you play, pause, stop, make random selections, move to the next song, and that kind of thing. The second just says DISK. For that one, I have to erase whatever path appears in the title-bar window and type in the path to my ITracker files. The menu then expands to let me select any title from that directory. The third menu is for controlling the volume, speed, etc. It's really very easy to use. Betty

Do either one of you have a DMCS or SONIX converter to MOD (I tracker or soundtracker) pr to noisetracker? Or know where I can get one? I'm looking hard! thanks a bunch!

No I don't. I'm just beginning to experiment with amiga music, and haven't found anything like that. I did find a program called MED (music editor) which is a very handy PD program, but I don't think it will load DMCS or Sonix stuff. Works with Soundtracker Mods tho'. <-SJK->
