Hi All,
I have decided to do a spot of recabling in my 2000 to give, internally, a
51/4 drive A: and a 31/2 drive B:(presently df1:) leaving just df0: on the
amiga side. As far as I can see, it is just a case of snapping an IDC
connector part-way along the supplied floppy cable and sticking this into
df1: and adding a suitable Drivparm line to config.sys.
Being sensible? I think I will in fact make up a new cable for this – I
don't suppose I will do any serious damage 🙂
Can someone please explain the jumper settings for the dreadfully noisy
Citizen drives as supplied by C= (two rows of three pins).
When I boot up with df1: disconnected I get df1:bad in workbench and in
response to 'info'. What do I do to stop amiga looking for df1:, is there a
jumper or something?
