Dear all, I am using 3DS3 at college. They don't actually provide us with any manuals. The book Inside 3D Studio didn't seem to mention it either, and that is how to render a tga file at a higher resolution than 640×400 for printing out on a bubble jet and then enlarging. Thanks Dom

When you're about to render, go to render/configure, and either click on one of the resolution boxes in that screen (if one of them is the resolution you desire), or enter the resolution in the two boxes for custom resolutions, which can be up to 9,999 x 9,999 pixesl (apparently). Once your file is rendered, you can print any number of ways. I use Windows (ugh) with PaintShop Pro (yay!!) for setting up the page, brightness & contrast etc to print to my Canon BJC-600 colour bubble-jet. The bigger the file the longer it takes, but it's quite reliable.

In addition to not providing any manuals, it sounds like they didn't provide you with licensed code. What college are you going to? – G

As the person who wrote that portion of the "Inside 3D Studio" book, I highly recommend that you refer to page 40 for rendering to a NULL device when your final output will be higher than your display! <bg> Greg Pyros
