#XT Bridge-Still here!
7 messages in this thread
I know there's got to be someone out there who still wants an XT
bridgeboard, so I'll try a little harder:
$275 A2088 XTBB with all original equipment(drive/dos/docs/box)
$ 25 Serial port card (expandable) with docs
$ 50 SCSI interface adaptor (can control 2 drives) with docs
OR all 3 for only $300. (and I'll throw in all my software + disks)
I'll listen to offers, but it's still worth something to me as parts.
Greg.
Greg, Just an opinion. While I'm sure that there is someone who'd want an
A2088, I think $275 is WAY too much to ask. I sold mine over 2 years ago
for $250. There have been times when I wished I still had it, but if I
were to purchase a 2088 today I'd not be willing to pay over $100 for it.

Ah, I see, I had no idea what a used XT was going for. Unfortunately no
one even made an offer (to put me on the right track), so I had to go by my
estimate of it's depreciation. Since, unfortunately, I bought it from a
dealer about a year ago for about $580, I thought I'd be safe by more than
halving that (guess I could never underestimate the value of an IBM related
product).
And, on a related note: anyone want all 3 for $200?
If not, I guess I'll call it a loss and put the darn stuff back in.
Greg.
Greg, $200 for all three wil go quickly, Keep your eye out for the "Once A
Weekers" (folks who logon on weekends only).

You're right, it sold almost immediately, now I can get the Mega-Chip I've
been considering and didn't quite have the cash to buy.
Greg
You can get a new ATonce for $350.
