I uploaded the Amiga version of the Silver Xpress offline reader here a couple of days ago. I see that some people have taken it but I was not sure if everyone knew it was available. I uploaded this for the author as he doesn't have a CIS account. Please download use and register the program. It is a well done port from the IBM machines and uses the full intuition interface so it is a good port. Hope you all like it.

Frank, I appreciate your uploading that program. I'd just begun to use a genealogy bulletin board, and had noticed that many others were using SilverXpress. I had no idea it was available for the Amiga until I saw it uploaded here. I unpacked it yesterday, but have not yet managed to get it working with the board I call. Give me a few days, tho. I suspect it will. Betty

Please let me know if I can be of any assistance on getting it setup. If I can't answer your questions I can relay them to the author and get back to you.

Thanks. I suspect I may need some help, but first I must find out if my genealogy BBS supports it. I see messages there that have been sent with it, but they may have been sent from somewhere else along the network. Actually, there are four boards in my area that carry the genealogy echoes, so perhaps one of them will support Silver Xpress. There are at least three of us in my Amiga club who are eager to use it if we can find the right board, etc. Betty

Well good luck. I hope you find a board that supports Silver Xpress. I think you will be quite pleased with the Amiga Silver Xpress reader. Well let me know how it turns out…
