Ive only just joined and having trouble downloading. Am using Ymodem protoc
ol and JRcomm software. Have not got permanent password, or rather, I have
but only just today. I don only got it today. Does it or is it the cause of
the message `Block sync error` or am I doing something wrong. I have got my
comms set to 7E1 exit

Set your program to use 8N1, and change to B+ protocols. You should have
much better luck and get much faster downloads.
If you need more specific help, please let us know.
(When you use B+ protocols and a download is stopped somewhere in the
middle, you can call back and resume the download from the point where it
started. You cannot do that with any of the other protocols available on
CIS.)
