I know NewTek has taken a great deal of grief for the announced price increase, but you do get what you pay for, and I seem to get a great deal from NewTek. My Toaster fried this week. A quick call to tech support revealed it was a hardware problem. I had a replacement in my machine working in two, count them, TWO days. No fuss. No muss. Nice clean quick professional support. One of the things you buy when you purchase a program like WordPerfect is that kind of service. That's what makes them a grownup. It's built into the price and, while it doesn't matter if you never need it, it matters big time if you do. One of the things that annoys me is how computer companies call their product 'professional' when it has a few more lights and buzzers. For those of us who use these things for real work, 'professional' means competent sales people, good service, and simple things like a human being at the other end of a phone who actually wants to help and knows how. I've got all that every time I've called in with a problem. I don't know anyone at NewTek and I don't own any of it's stock. But I bitch a lot if things are wrong so I thought it fair to say it aloud when they're right. If that price increase buys continued 'professional' service like I've always got, it's a bargain. Regards, David

David, Thanks for the kind words. I will Fax the message to the technical support department in Topeka so they can see it too. [I am located in Southern California]. RAD Moose "'o.o'"
