Sorry for the long delay in answering your message to me. Regarding the
ureilites there is a strong relation to the carbonaceous type astroids out
between Mars and Jupitor. Such astroids are very plentiful out there.

Due to the size of the crystals in the ureilites (large), it suggests a long
cool down period rather than an abrupt transfer to space by either a volcanic
eruption or being an from impact material.
I guess it was wishful thinking on my part that there could be material from
Venus. Maybe there is but I do know that it would be difficult to make it here
even under ideal conditions. Perhaps conditions were better in the past but all
of the really knowledgable people I know who study this stuff say it is only a
very very remote chance. I guess I will put my ball bearing shoes on and do a
180 degree turn and chalk it up to wishful thinking <G>.
It seems like if there were any granite type material here from Venus that we
would see evidence of fussion crust from the fall here on this material. To my
best knowledge I know of no such beast but then there could be. The only really
strange meteorite that I know of that was debated as real was one that was made
of copper. Perhaps there is an astroid out there somewhere that has a lot of
copper on it or due to impact was generated and made its way to Earth.
I guess what I am now saying is that I have an open mind but doubt any Venus
material has been found or if there was some found was not recognized. Well at
least I thought I had something for a while <G>.

The diamonds are supposed to be igneous, but if the lonsdaleite crystals are
smaller than the general grain size, they still might fit the "indicates
intense shock pressures" remark in Bagnall.
